Version 20.0 08.07.2026
Version 20.0 introduces two entirely new modules: Storage and the catalog log.
Storage
Storage is a built-in cloud file storage integrated with Golova. It opens in a separate browser tab with seamless single sign-on — no additional login is required.
Enabling Storage. Storage is hidden by default. To enable it, go to Database → Employees → Access Templates, open the Services tab, and enable the Storage module. Two access modes are available: Full access (the user sees all company files and folders and can edit, delete, and share them) and My files only (the user sees only their own files, system project folders, and files shared with them).
Project file sync. Files in a project's Files section and the corresponding project folder in Storage are the same files — changes in either place are reflected immediately in the other. Deleting a file in Storage removes it from the project, and vice versa. Access to project files in Storage inherits project permissions: users without access to a project cannot see its Storage folder.
Viewing and editing. Files can be previewed without downloading. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files can be edited directly in the browser with automatic saving — no desktop office suite required.
Sharing. Files and folders can be shared in four ways: keep private, share with the entire company, share with specific employees selected from the company's user list, or generate a public link for external recipients. Deactivated employees lose Storage access automatically.
Generated documents. When Storage is enabled, Save to Storage buttons appear in the project interface for commercial proposals, warehouse inventory lists, and document packages. Each save creates a new timestamped version; the most recent versions are retained automatically. Commercial proposals are saved to separate subfolders for "with prices" and "without prices" based on the user's access rights.
Storage dashboard. Users with full access can view a storage analytics dashboard showing total and used space, the largest files, upload history, and a breakdown by file type.
Catalogue Log
The Catalogue Log is part of the System Log — a unified activity table combining project history and catalogue history. It is intended for administrators and is hidden by default.
Enabling the Catalogue Log
Go to Database → Employees → Access Templates, open the System tab, and enable the System Log. The Catalogue and Projects modules can be enabled together or separately.
What Is Logged
All actions in the catalogue are recorded:
creating, renaming, and moving sections and items;
changes to SKU fields: warehouse, comment, SKU number, and others;
bulk actions, such as mass SKU assignment;
catalogue-level operations: changing price types and updating statuses.
Actions are colour-coded: green for creation, teal for modification, red for deletion.
Log Entry Structure
Each entry contains the following fields:
date;
user;
action;
parameter;
old and new values;
location — the catalogue path where the action occurred.
System folders are highlighted in blue; user-created folders are shown in black. The Parameter Type field defines the level of the action: folder, item, or SKU.
Search by ID
Every catalogue object has a system identifier that does not change even when the object is renamed or moved. This ID can be entered in the search field to filter the log and view the full history of a specific folder, item, or SKU.
Filters
The log can be filtered by the following parameters:
module: catalogue, projects, or both;
user;
date range;
parameter ID.
All filters can be combined freely.
